Own Your Own Town with Short Sales

I am snowed under in Tunica, Mississippi spending a little time with my older brother. He gets free trips to casino towns and events like I do from time to time. Yes, I play a little Craps and Black Jack once or twice a year. I was sitting up here in my hotel room this past weekend, browsing the internet and ran across this wild article on how I could own my own town. Take a look below after reading.

I thought to myself what a cool opportunity to own a town of our own.
Then I started to ask myself “How far away it is?”, “What it would cost to rehab?”, “How would I market to get people to come back to the town so it would pay for itself?” etc…
It looked a little out of my own area of expertise. Not to mention the location was not in my usual sandbox. You all know what I say about getting involved with property that you cannot manage.

You would need to have someone you know on the ground that can help. Someone who is qualified and experienced in the field that we are asking them to be. In other words do not just trust someone to negotiate, or represent you or your company on a deal if they do not have equal or more knowledge than you have.

What about all the deals right here in our backyard? You know all the houses or towns for sale locally. There are so many deals, large and small. 100 thousand and million dollar deals in your neighborhood or surrounding area that you need to grab up before someone else does.
